July 23

SCHOOL HOUSE CLEANING
Begins at 8:00 am; come help give the school grounds a thorough cleaning in preparation for the new school year.

 

August 22

ORIENTATION

An evening for parents, students, and teachers to meet each other and get ready for the first day of school. Walk-through, from 7:00 - 8:30. 

 

August 24

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Today we dismiss at noon, so don't pack lunches. 

 

September 5

LABOR DAY

No school today. 

 

September 12

KINDERGARTEN BEGINS

This is a big deal, people!

 

October 28

END OF FIRST QUARTER

Today is the deadline for achieving Honor Roll.

 

November 1

PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE 

We will send home a schedule to let you know what time to be at the schoolhouse.

 

November 11

SCIENCE AND ART PROJECTS, 7:00 pm

Start planning early; make this one your best ever! Find great science ideas here or here. For art and craft projects, take a look at this site for younger students, or this one for older students.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM, 7:30 pm
Half day of school today, dismissing at noon. The Christmas program is to be held at the Sunnyside Church meeting place. Please have your students at the schoolhouse by 7:00, for final preparations. Thanks.
